Dukes of Hazzard fans from across the area flocked to Livingston Parish to meet their favorite "Duke." It was all part of the second annual Dukes of Hazzard Family Reunion and Car Show. It was a day for the whole family to fall in love with the dukes all over again.

“The first sight of all of my characters that I grew up with was just like… It was like seeing my family again,” Stephanie Campo, Dukes fan, said.

Campo and her kids have bonded over the classic tv show..

“We have all the seasons. We watch them often,” Campo said.

Campo’s daughter loves the story too.

“How they are always running from the cops and always getting away with it,” Maria Campo, Campo’s daughter, said.

It was a chance for fans to meet their favorite Duke face to face and maybe even get a picture.

“Because we get to see famous people and have fun with our family,” Maria Campo described.

Hundreds of cars were on hand to show of the different styles of general lee and even the Hazzard county sheriff's cruisers.

“It was exciting to sit in the seat and feel like one of the Dukes,” Stephanie Campo said.

For Stephanie it was a great day to show her kids what was popular when she grew up.

“This event is tremendous for our generation to go back and to see the guys the girls who we grew up with. They are just normal people like you and I,” Campo said.

Characters from the History Channel’s Swamp People and A&E’s Duck Dynasty were also on hand to sign autographs.
