DENHAM SPRINGS, LA (FOX44) — In Denham Springs, a portion of Eden Church Road near the intersection of Florida Avenue is closed because of construction.

Workers are resurfacing the road, and also putting in a sidewalk.

If you use Eden Church, use Hatchell Lane as an alternate route.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of the week.
