
BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — Baton Rouge Magnet High School students and faculty had a real treat this morning - words of wisdom from journalist Tony Brown.
Brown was the commentator and journalist on the longest-running series on PBS. He also coordinated a civil rights march that featured Dr. Martin Luther King.
Today, he spoke to students about the importance of Africa-American History Month. His words included advice for their future and stories of his past.
Brown’s visit was sponsored by Cox and the EBR School District.
