GROSS TETE, LA (FOX44) — A judge will decide if Tony the Tiger, a tiger kept in a cage at a truck stop in Gross Tete, will be sent to an animal sanctuary.
Tiger Truck Stop owner Michael Sandlin is appealing a decision to remove the tiger from his gas station. Tony the Tiger has been in a cage at his truck stop for years.
Three appeals court judges will decide if a lower judge made the right decision to get the tiger out of Grosse Tete.
It could be weeks, even months, before a decision in the case is made.
