BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — If you need to fix your roof, clean up mold and mildew, or just want to storm-proof your home for the future, FEMA has hired experts to give free home repair advice to victims of Hurricane Isaac.
The agency has opened special centers all over the region so homeowners can meet face-to-face with hazard mitigation advisors.
There are three stations set up right now in our area. One is at the Home Depot on Highland Road in Baton Rouge, another at the Lowe's on Airline Highway in Gonzales. There are also experts at the Lowe's on Highway 190 in Hammond.
The centers are open now through November 12, 2012 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All you have to do is walk in - the help is free.
