BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — A Flood Watch is in effect for the remainder of the evening and will continue until Tuesday afternoon.
A possibility of 2 to 4 inches of rain is expected for much of southeast Louisiana. Some areas of East Baton Rouge Parish could see up to 6 inches. There is also the possibility for severe weather, including damaging winds, isolated tornadoes and large hail.
“Please use the buddy system and check on neighbors as they may experience problems from the large amounts of rainfall that are possible during the next two days,” Mayor Kip Holden, said.
