Baton Rouge, La (FOX44) — It'll be two months before former Baton Rouge Police Chief Dewayne White will get to appeal his firing.
White's appeal hearing is set for May 13-15. Mayor Kip Holden fired White last month after a heated public meeting.
Holden called White a liar and said that he had repeatedly violated department policies.
If the civil service board sides with White, he could be reinstated as chief.
An attorney for the EBR Government says he'll attend to “set the record straight”.
