BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — Funeral arrangements for Chris Broussard have been announced.
Brossard was an LSU student who was reported missing after not showing up at home or at work on Tuesday, Aug. 27. His vehicle was recovered the following night. Officials believe he crashed his truck, causing it to flip and roll into Bayou Manchac.
Visitation will take place at Rabenhorst East Funeral Home, 11000 Florida Blvd., Sunday, September 1, 2013 from 3:00 - 7:00 pm and resume at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Jefferson Hwy., Monday, September 2nd from 9:30 - 11:30 with Mass beginning at 11:30, followed by Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy.
“The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all the friends and family and his brothers of Theta Chi, LSU police and administration and all the members of the media who were instrumental in his search and discovery,” a representative said in a media release. “Also, a special thanks to family and friends who spent countless hours searching for Christopher. We were deeply touched by the outpouring of support from the community, the LSU family, and his co-workers and employers at Exerfit Family Fitness Center.”
