BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — Forty-six trained deputies and officers are joining the ranks of more than 20 area agencies.
The graduating class consists of officers and deputies from across the capitol area.
Several people did drop out before their graduation day; however, those that are left say it was all worth it, even though the twelve weeks of training were tough. They say they'll also be keeping in touch with class mates from all of the departments.
"We had a great group of guys to work with from more department than I can count,” Adam Holden, graduate, said. “It was a fun class. It was challenging, but it was a fun class."
Graduates are going to departments such as the Livingston Parish Sheriff's office the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office and the Department of Public Safety.
