NATIONAL NEWS (CNN) — Paula Deen has lost another major sponsor.
Smithfield Foods has terminated its contract with the celebrity chef after she admitted using a racial slur.
Her comments became public in a lawsuit deposition.
Deen is being sued for sexual and racial harassment by a former general manager of one of her Georgia restaurants.
Smithfield issued a statement saying they "condemn the use of offensive and discriminatory language" of any kind.
Deen became a spokesperson for Smithfield Foods, the country's largest producer of pork products, in 2006.
The Food Network decided not to renew Deen's contract after the comments came to light.
