BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — 11:00 a.m. UPDATE: Hurricane Isaac continues to push across south Louisiana with the eye of the storm currently sitting around the Thibodaux/Houma area. The slow-moving storm is pushing at roughly 6 mph.

Baton Rouge is currently feeling this first wave of the storm with winds at roughly 23 mph and there is currently a tornado watch until 4:00 p.m. There is also a Flash Flood Watch until 7:00 a.m.

New Orleans has experienced about 1 foot of rain so far. Winds are currently at 50 mph.
