CENTRAL, LA (FOX44) — Fire investigators are still trying to determine what caused a fire to break out overnight at a home in Central.
The Central Fire Department was called to a home on Devall Road at roughly 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6. When firefighters arrived the house was fully engulfed in flames.
We’re told the fire caused an estimated $80,000 worth of damage.
The occupants of the home were able to escape safely. One firefighter, however, did have to be treated for heat exhaustion.
