Baton Rouge — The Saints take on the Philadelphia Eagles Saturday night, which means here at home local restaurants and bars are gearing up for the game and of course the fans.
Saints fans are ready to see their team beat the birds but in less than perfect conditions.
"With the temperatures the way it is in Philadelphia I really don't know," said Saints fan, Darren Gagnon.
The cold temps here don't compare to the freezing weather in the city of brotherly love. But those temps are not stopping anyone who’s heading out tomorrow night.
“Getting together with friends even though it will be cold catching the game,” said Saints fan, Mark Mescayer.
The bars are gearing up here in the Capital City, despite the weather concerns.
“We are excited because when ever the Saints play in the playoffs, for all bars in the area, its huge,” said Twin Peaks manager, Vincent Hunt.
“Everyone wishes the game was here instead of Philly but everyone is really excited,” noted Lava Cantina manager, JK Lockhart.
Local bars are ready to make sure the fans enjoy this game because it could be the last of the season.
“I think everyone is amped up once you win and get into the layoffs its kind of a lottery thing," said Lockhart.
But not everyone is planning on heading out on the town tomorrow. Some seem to have other agendas.
"I am very excited. I don’t know any friends going to bars because everyone will be at my house that’s because were the ones having the bar atmosphere,” said Jeremy Falcon.
