LAFAYETTE – Today, Governor Bobby Jindal addressed the Rally for Economic Survival where he blasted the President’s deepwater drilling moratorium and called on the rally-goers to send a clear message to Washington, D.C.
Thousands of people were inside Lafayette's Cajundome for today's "Rally for Economic Survival." People are gathering - hoping to encourage federal officials to life the drilling moratorium in the Gulf of Mexico.
Baton Rouge-There are two scheduled lane closures associated with the I-12 widening project for tonight and tomorrow night. The following closures are scheduled for Monday, July 19 and Tuesday, July 20, weather permitting:
The lane closure that began on Wednesday, July 14, has been extended to Wednesday, July 21. The closure will take place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night from 8 p.m.-6 a.m. This work is subject to change due to inclement weather.
