BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — LSU officials have just wrapped up a press conference discussing how they responded to toady’s bomb threats.
The school’s administration says they're pleased with the response of local authorities. LSU Police say they did everything they could do to get people off campus quickly.
Right now, buildings are being thoroughly searched to make sure they're safe.
LSU Police went on to say buildings on LSU's campus will be reopened individually after they're all inspected.
Also helping in today's investigation - Louisiana State Police, Baton Rouge Police, and the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office.
State Police Commander Mike Edmonson says the events as carried out by law enforcement today were successful.
Officials say they're going to do everything they can to find the person responsible for today's threats and arrest him or her.
Police will not re-open LSU's campus proper until they're 100 percent certain that it's safe for people to return.
