Shreveport, La — Authorities have arrested a Shreveport man accused of kidnapping a woman from a Shreveport Casino on March 20.
Just after 2:00 a.m., Shreveport Police were called to the 300 block of Clyde Fant Parkway relative to a welfare concern.
When officers arrived at the business, the victim told them that while walking through the parking garage of the casino, she was accosted by her ex- boyfriend who reportedly grabbed her from behind while she was not looking.
The victim alleged that George Arnold, 33, forced her back to her vehicle. The victim went on to say that Arnold held her captive in the vehicle and attempted to drive out of the parking garage with her.
The woman somehow managed to flee the car as Arnold nearded the exit ramp of the parking structure.
Arnold was later arrested by Shreveport Police after returning to the scene of the incident. He was charged with Simple Kidnapping.
