BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — The Metro Council said that riverboat casinos here in the Capitol City should be able to serve liquor around the clock.
Riverboat casinos in Baton Rouge are the only ones in the state that can't serve during all hours of the day.
In a 7-4 vote earlier this evening , the council approved the proposal.
Alcohol will only be allowed to be sold past 2:00 a.m. on the casino floor.
The Ordinance will go into effect after Mayor Holden signs it.
