BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — A 33 year old man died last night after being struck by a car on Airline Highway.

The Baton Rouge Police Department reports that the incident occurred on Saturday, Sept. 15 shortly before 11:00 p.m. It happened around 7100 Airline Highway. We’re told the victim was found in the ditch and died at the scene.

We're told the driver of the vehicle was not injured and was not ticketed.

The incident is still under investigation.
