BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — Hundreds across the Baton Rouge area came out today to attend Christmas mass. People filed in one after another at St. Jospeh Cathedral in downtown Baton Rouge. Some attendees said it's a tradition, while others are simply there to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.
"To bring family together. To remember the real meaning of Christmas, and we just don't do this enough together as a family and celebrate," Ron Blohowiak
"It's that spiritual gift God gives us to remind us the importance of family and the depth of family," Mary Ellen Davros said.
St. Joseph's does this special Christmas mass every year, and everyone's welcome.
