Reenactments teach history
BATON ROUGE, La (FOX44) - January 15, 2011 - At the old state capitol Saturday, the capitol city got a taste of its own history.
It was a reenactment of the surrender of the Baton Rouge Garrison.
This happened when Louisiana as a whole decided to secede from the united states during the Civil War.
Lots of people get involved in these reenactments. People like Charles Schmitz, and his family say they have lots of fun reliving history.
