NEW ORLEANS, LA (WDSU-CNN) — The Saints are optimistic regarding Jimmy Graham’s foot injury, according to NFL insiders.
ESPN NFL Insider Chris Mortensen is reporting that the Saints organization is optimistic regarding Jimmy Graham’s foot injury.
Graham injured his foot in the fourth quarter at New England Sunday. He returned to the game before leaving it for good with a couple of minutes to go.
Graham underwent an MRI for his injury Monday, the results of which have not been released yet.
Despite not catching a pass for the first time since his rookie year, Graham leads all NFL pass catchers with 593 yards and is tied for third in the league with six touchdown receptions.
New Orleans is off this week. The Saints’ next game is Oct. 27 versus Buffalo in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
