Serious crash causes vehicle to overturn on Coursey Blvd.

At least one person was seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash on Coursey Blvd.

The Baton Rouge Police Department confirms that a the crash happened shortly after 1:30 p.m. in the 11000 block of Coursey. We're told a 90 year old driver in a Toyota Camry attempted to make a left turn from Coursey Blvd onto American Way when she was struck by a 2008 Honda Accord traveling east bound on Coursey Blvd. The Camry then struck a 2008 Infinity SUV that had stopped at the stop sign on American Way and Coursey Blvd.

EMS confirms that three patients were transported to the hospital. We’re told two were suffering from minor injuries and a third was listed in critical condition.

The crash is still under investigaiton.
