Teen on his way to school dies in single-vehicle crash
LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (FOX44) — The Louisiana State Police is investigating a crash that claimed the life of teen. We’re told the young man was on his way to school.
The crash happened at around 7:00 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 10. We’re told Brice J. Harris was driving along LA 1032, just south of Vincent Road. As Harris approached a right hand curve he lost control of his vehicle. The F-250 ran off the roadway to the right and entered a ditch before striking a tree.
Officials say Harris was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
We’re told the crash happened before severe weather passed through the area, so they do not believe it played a factor. However, they do suspect Harris was speeding.
