TNA wrestler Mr. Anderson visits FOX44, TNA wrestling coming to River Center on May 4
Baton Rouge, La (FOX44) — If you're looking for something to do this weekend, head to the River Center for TNA wrestling.
In the ring he's known as Mr. Anderson, but when he came to our studio, he was Britt Conway's competition - and the one-foot height difference didn't even phase her.
Our FOX44 anchor went head-to-head with the Impact Wrestling superstar.
Things were pretty close, but it was clear that Britt needed a little help to take down Mr. Anderson.
He's a pro, but get this: Mr. Anderson wasn't even a fan of wrestling growing up. In fact, he didn't start watching until he was in his 20's. When he did, he became a big fan of 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin.
So we wanted to know, what's it like walking out to a cheering - or sometimes booing -crowd?
"There's a lot of things that go through your mind,” said Anderson. “For me, I still get nervous before I go out. Nerves never really go away and it's not a negative thing, it's more of like that positive stress that drives you to be a better performer."
As for Mr. Anderson's favorite move? Plain and simple - a punch.
You can catch Mr. Anderson and the other Impact Wrestling stars live at the River Center this Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
