NEW YORK, NY — As expected, the New Orleans Hornets selected Anthony Davis with the first overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft.

Davis won a National Championship with Kentucky as a freshman last season.

The Hornets still hold the No. 10 and No. 46 picks in the draft.
