Saints Reveal 2008 Schedule, 11 Games on FOX

In their 2008 schedule, the New Orleans Saints will be featured in three nationally-televised, prime-time games – including two on Monday Night Football and one on Thursday night – and play three home games in three consecutive weeks for the first time since 1999, it was announced by the NFL.

The Saints also open the season at the Superdome for the first time since 2004 when they take on the NFC South rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, Sept. 7.

The Saints will play twice on Monday Night Football, hosting the Minnesota Vikings on Oct. 6 and the Green Bay Packers on Nov. 24. Both games have a 7:30pm kickoff. New Orleans will also travel to Chicago, Dec. 11, for a nationally-televised Thursday-night game. As was previously announced, the Saints will host the San Diego Chargers at London’s Wembley Stadium on Oct. 26.

Following the opener, the Saints have consecutive road games at Washington and Denver. New Orleans then returns for three straight home games, opening with San Francisco, Sept. 28, followed by Minnesota, Oct. 6 and Oakland, Oct. 12.
