The Southern University Lady Jaguars softball was blanked by the Nicholls State University Lady Colonels Wednesday 2-0 at Lady Jaguar field.

Southern (14-11) pitcher sophomore Megan Hodge gave up three hits and two runs that gave NSU the victory. Senior Tiffany Darville ended the game going 2 for 2 at the plate. Freshman Victoria Stewart and senior Courtney Chappell each finished the game with a hit.

SU could never turn those hits into runs as Nicholls pitcher Audrey Wood struck out four and allowed only one run.
