If nothing else, the LSU baseball team should be well rested when they take the field for their opening game of the College World Series.

The Tigers will take on the UCLA Bruins Sunday night at 7 p.m. (CT).

When that time comes it will be eight days since the last time LSU played a game.

LSU is the No. 4 national seed and has a record of 57-9. UCLA is currently 44-17 on the year.

LSU head coach Paul Mainieri said sophomore Aaron Nola will be the Tigers starting pitcher against the Bruins.

The game will be televised by ESPN2 and ESPN3.
