Two LSU Tigers named to first team AP All-SEC team

Kevin Minter and Eric Reid landed on the AP's first team All-SEC defensive team for their stellar play in 2012. Sam Montgomery, Bennie Logan, Keke Mingo and Craig Loston all made the second team. LSU will take on Clemson December 31 in the Chic-fil-A Bowl in Atlanta, Georgia. The two teams played last in 1996 Peach Bowl. LSU won that game 10-7 under Gerry DiNardo.
