Community Holds Candlelight Vigil for Slain Man

As the community near Goodwood and Flannery Road mourns the loss of Douglas Arrington, tonight they held a candlelight vigil in remembrance of their slain friend. Arrington was allegedly shot to death Tuesday by another neighbor. Those who live in the area say Arrington was attacked by the neighbors dog, and after hitting the dog to scare him away, the neighbor shot the man several times.

The community came together, as they stated they have in many instances, to gather in love for Arrington. They say although reports list him as having been homeless, they want people to know that he had an entire neighborhood, a village, who cared for him and made sure he was always okay.
