Baker's chief of police and the man in charge of the city's schools are at odds— and they're bringing in the Attorney General’s office to help settle things.
Chief Mike Knaps wants his department to be granted access to security cameras in three Baker schools via the internet.
He says that way officers will be able to respond to emergency situations immediately and more efficiently.
But superintendent Estes Taplin believes it's a violation of student privacy.
Taplin is letting the Attorney General’s office decide the legality of Knaps' proposal.
