Kelsey Scram joined the Fox News Baton Rouge News Team in the summer of 2009. She got her start in Syracuse, NY at 570 WSYR News Radio. Kelsey graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in broadcast journalism.

She also studied creative writing and drama. During her time as a student, she interned with WABC in New York City, Louisiana Public Broadcasting, and Fox News Baton Rouge. She was a student sports reporter for Syracuse University’s news website, TheNewshouse.com, during her second semester of senior year. She was also involved in a student-run musical theater organization called First Year Players.

Kelsey grew up in a small town outside of Pittsburgh, PA. Her family moved to Baton Rouge several years ago and she is happy to finally be able to spend some time with them. In her spare time, Kelsey enjoys downhill skiing, reading, watching football, and spending time with her family, friends, and golden retriever, Tucker.
