Today brings the last day of scattered "super-soakers" to south Louisiana. Chances of rain range from 40-50 percent, with temperatures rising into the upper-80s/lower-90s this afternoon. Overnight, clouds hang around, while morning lows fall to near 70º. More afternoons in the 90s and mornings in the upper-60s/lower-70s are forecast into the weekend, with skies turning dry all the way through the beginning of next week. A bigger fall-temperature push arrives by midweek, with lows FINALLY sinking into the mid-60s on Wednesday morning and highs in the mid-80s Wednesday afternoon.
